An atmospheric, traditional west coast large farmhouse on the shores of Loch na Keal

Situated close to Loch na Keal and just half an hour's drive from the Craignure to Oban ferry terminal, Killiechronan is a perfectly located Mull holiday home.

The house is spacious and, having once been an hotel, it is extremely well provided with bathrooms - the bedrooms are traditional and comfortable and all have en suite facilities. It is full of days-gone-by charm, furnished in the old style, and with many quirky and fascinating small details.

The main room has a games room leading off and is therefore ideal for family living. Although the heating system is highly efficient, it is still lovely to sit by the open fire and relax. The dining room is spacious and the table can seat 12 comfortably. There is a spacious catering-style kitchen that is well equipped for larger party entertaining.

Mull offers so much to see and do for all the family and is, without a doubt, one of the most popular islands. There are plenty of boat cruises for wildlife and birdwatching; fishing trips; pony trekking; and numerous visitor attractions that easily fill the week.

Tobermory is a 30-minute drive and has some wonderful shops, a distillery and a small theatre. There are many restaurants and cafés to sample for good food, and the shop in Salen is extremely well stocked.

Take a trip down to the island of Iona, walk the circumference of the island, see the magnificent beaches and visit the famous Abbey.
