Auchnagonalin House, a STB 3-star rated house, is ideally situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty and classic highland scenery, yet is only one mile from the attractive town of Grantown-on-Spey, where you will find everything from a supermarket to high quality Scottish merchandise, good hotel restaurants and cafés.
The house, which is situated in its own grounds and surrounded by farmland, has been fully restored and is warm and comfortable: an ideal holiday home for families and friends. It is very spacious and light, with plenty of room for children to play and parents to relax!
Outdoor enthusiasts have a wide choice of activities to fill the days: watersports at Lochs Morlich and Insh; hill walking and mountaineering to all levels; winter sports at Aviemore; a multitude of cycle tracks for mountain bikers; and golfers will be spoilt for choice with the many excellent courses in this area.
Children are easily entertained at the Landmark Activity Centre, where there are huge waterslides and interactive exhibitions. Another big attraction for young and old is the Highland Wildlife Park, where wolves can be observed.
