This superb and spacious house is situated on the south side of Loch Broom in a quiet hamlet and within a safely gated old walled garden which is now grassed over to provide an ideal place for children to play.
The house is of an exceptional standard, stylishly appointed with hardwood floors, tasteful decor and a mix of antique and modern furnishings. All rooms are light and airy with windows to all aspects.
It is beautifully positioned to gain advantage of the amazing views all around of hills, trees and Loch Broom. Being only a 20-minute drive from Ullapool and the sea, a varied holiday can be planned to include hill walking, wildlife cruises, beach days, fine food and entertainment at The Ceilidh Place, and garden visits to Leckmelm Gardens (1 mile) and Inverewe Garden (43 miles).
Only an hour and fifteen minutes from Inverness with its airport (flights from Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow), a city dweller in London can be breathing the pure Highland air in less than 3 hours! It will take you minutes to relax into the slow and peaceful atmosphere of this attractive home.
As there are as many bathrooms or shower rooms as there are bedrooms, it is also a great house for couples to share, either an active outdoor activity holiday or just a relaxing time together enjoying some of the entertainment at the famous Ceilidh Place in Ullapool where local, national and international performers are frequently featured. Alternatively, head out to the remote and dramatic Achiltibuie from where you can see the Summer Isles. For the seafood enthusiast, the Kylesku Hotel further north has a reputation as being one of the finest in Scotland.
Walkers and mountaineers will be spoilt for choice - An Teallach is just a 20-minute drive, and Coigach - a great walk with wonderful sea views - is just north of Ullapool.
Deer are frequently seen around the house and many birds of prey can be watched, including golden eagles, buzzards, peregrine falcons and kestrels.
